Dog by the sea, Hvar
Essay 1 · Perspective Sea View

On Perspective

From the sea, everything looks different.
Not clearer.
But more honest.

What felt big down there loses its weight.
What seemed fixed starts to move.
And things that felt far away come closer.

The view changes nothing.
But it reveals what was already there.

Many try to find clarity by going deeper.
More analysis. More detail. More thinking.
And lose the overview.

Here, it works the other way.
You don't go deeper. You step back.
And suddenly you see how things connect.
Not as a concept. As an image.

And in that moment,
something appears that wasn't there before:
Direction.

Not because you were looking for it.
But because you can see it.
